Well you can’t do that with the log viewer… it’s purely real-time. You can always open the log file in a normal text editor…
Same happening to me. Did you ever get this fixed?
Release v0.4.0
Changed
- Upgrades NodeJS to 10.14.2-r0
- Upgrades git to 2.20.1-r0
- Makes log_level optional
- Removes custom log format override
- Workaround Docker issue by reinstating legacy tags
- Adds support for ARMv7
- Rewrite add-on onto Bashio
- Fixes Markdownlint warnings
- Upgrades add-on base image to 3.0.1
I love this add-on it makes log viewing so easy.
If i haven’t made a mistake in the setup (which i have checked multiple times) i have a request to make it more easy to toogle between log level.
Right now the setting in logger is overwriting the setting i log viewer, so if i set the level to info in logger and warn in log viewer it shows log level info.
It would be awesome to be able to set the log level in logger to debug, and in log viewer be able to change what the log viewer actually shows, by changing the log level from the add-on.
Release v0.5.0
This release adds support for Hass.io Ingress
Breaking change
The addition of Ingress makes this add-on not accessible directly. If you have added the Log Viewer via an iframe panel, this release will break that.
However, you can enable this again by going into the add-on configuration. A new section show is visible: “Network”. Enter port 4277
(or anything else if you want) in the disabled
field. Hit the “SAVE” followed by the “RESTART” button to make your iframe work as before.
An option to add an Ingress capable add-on to the sidebar menu automatically is expected to land in Home Assistant 0.92.

This is all I have in my config:

"ssl": false,
"certfile": "fullchain.pem",
