Thanks again for your help. Yes I searched and researched a lot before trying to ask for support on the community, I tried the solarman manner on the deye dongle but it didn’t work so I’m trying to find an exclusive deye integration, I tried 2 integrations already tony tong deye and deyesolardesktop and it’s not working so if someone managed to make it work on either and can explain it in a good manner or know of another one it would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help but it isn’t working for me, I entered my deye dongle information on solarman but it still gave me unknown data, the dongle has wifi and connected locally to home assistant as well. How did you get it to work? To add I have other non deye dongles and they worked fine on solarman, only deye is giving me issues.
try deye_hybrid as a lockup file, also check if you use correct component because there is two components with same name, and this from david drapan is better 
And after you install any integration be sure to restart Home assistant. Please pardon if you have done this, but it is often missed.
Thanks again for the response I did try beforehand using deye_hybrid but it didn’t work and I’ll see which solarman intergration I’m using if it’s david or not, thank you
Thank you for responding again, yes I’ve been using home assistant for a while and I know of restarting afterwards. Someone else here gave me something to try, I’ll see if it works, I appreciate both your help.
Hi everyone, I have been trying to integrate my new deye inverter also, but as far as I understand deye has new loggers as you can see on the image. I think this is the main reason why we can’t get it work. Do you know any other workarounds that we can get info from the inverter even if it is laggy (cloud) because I don’t have the opportunity to get other loggers as there is none in the country where I live. I am using deye cloud for the time being. Thanks for any help in advance.
Hola, no se si habréis conseguido conectar con el Inversor, yo tuve el mismo problema y tuve que cambiar la dirección del esclavo del inversor, en vuestra foto de configuración viene un 2 y por ejemplo en mi inversor esta configurada como 1, tenéis que ir al inversor y buscar en los parámetros de configuración este valor
i did this by assembling some devices (Modbus ethernet cable to a RS485, jump cable and soldered to a ESP32 flashed chip powered by USB connected by Wifi to HA (HAOS)) . Real time local data now available on HA. Took me a few days and probably less than 20EUR in aliexpress parts. youll need the modbus protocol PDF from Deye service email in China for your inverter model/firmware as AI guesses the mappings and that leads to all sorts of inaccuracies. Also coexistence of the Deye data logger and your ESP32 will cause data conflicts unless you use your HA as a read only dashboard (until you disconnect the Deye data logger or try a wave device and more hardware setup to allow them to coexist without fighting over Master/slave relationship of the inverter.)
For ones having issus with new Deye data loggers (mine was DYDA_WiBLE_1.6.0).
I sent request for remote firmware update/unlock for my Wi-Fi data logger to enable local V5 Modbus TCP access for local Home Assistant integration to Deye support.
As a result (within one day) my fw for logger was updated to DYDA_WiBLE_1.7.1_crypt.
Based on support comments:
The new firmware for the WiFi logger, version 1.7.1, does not support Modbus TCP 8899 and only supports Modbus TCP 502
For this to work first you need to enable it on data logger (via its web ui)
Then my Solarman integration worked without issues (don’t forget to use port 502)
P.s. my inverter SUN-15K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2
What are the admin default username and password so I can access that menu to configure MODBUS? Is there any repository with this version of firmware?
