I will be great to use .ics format to display on Home assistant.
.ics format is general in use, so it can use for every calender.

I agree with you! Automations based on calendar events would be great.

During my time on Vera I used a plugin called Gcal (information here, you could even trigger events based on keywords in a calendar entry ). And I have to say it was/is super usefull and one of the very few thing I truly miss.

Hello, i love the idea to get my future events and show it on the home-assistant frontend. And for the future it would be very nice if i could filter for some events with an automatically trigger like “bring out garbage” with an sonos play action or something else. Other trigger could be “Holiday” (switch heating off and lights on for one hour at the evening). The possibilities would be endless. This would be an really good home assistant.

Not in HASS yet but maybe someday. You can manually install it for now.
