Hey all, I recently force removed 2 Ikea GU10 bulbs through Zigbee2MQTT, and am unable to re-pair/ re-discover them again despite trying the factory reset/ power-cycling method.
Model/ Versions:
- Ikea Bulb model: “TRADFRI LED bulb GU10 345/380 lumen, dimmable, white spectrum (LED2005R5)
by IKEA”, Firmware: 1.0.012 - HA:
- Home Assistant 2023.10.3
- Supervisor 2023.10.0
- Operating System 11.0
- Frontend 20231005.0 - latest
- Zigbee Stick: “Sonoff_Zigbee_3.0_USB_Dongle_Plus”
Context:
I was previously facing a problem getting the lights to show up properly as “lights” (see Ikea Tradfri bulb not recognized as light), but that has been resolved. While troubleshooting, I “force-removed” 2 ikea bulbs through Z2MQTT. Since then, i’ve not been able to pair the bulbs back again.
In addition, there is also 1 more bulb that disappeared from both Z2MQTT, and also HA devices/ entities section after I upgraded my HA version to the latest 2023.10.3 version.
I can still see the single bulb that disappeared with the version upgrade in the “zigbee2mqtt” > “configuration.yaml” file being listed. It just doesn’t show up in the other UIs.
I have tried:
- Power-Cycling the bulbs to attempt to factory reset them multiple times, still no luck discovering them again.
- Removed and put back the Zigbee stick in my mini-PC
- Restarted HA server
- I have tested a fresh ikea bulb of the same model, and can confirm that Z2MQTT works fine to auto-discover new bulbs.
Without being able to discover these bulbs, I am only able to use them as ‘dumb’ bulbs currently… Any advice/ help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
