I'm giving up on installing HAOS, can anyone help?

I have tested Home Assistant for a bit using a VM on my main pc. Today I felt it was time to finally install it on my Raspberry Pi 3 so I could use it. But I have given up on doing this.

I’m stuck at the with the “[WARN] Home Assistant CLI not starting! Jump into emergency console” problem. I have tried almost everything that I could found and nothing works. With my first attempt I got the “login method” working but I didn’t get to the web UI part, as that didn’t want to start. And now typing login doesn’t even work anymore.

I see that a lot of other people are having this issue so could someone please me help?

Did you try what “other people” did to resolve the problem?

SOLVED! I am using Google Wi-Fi mesh and have configured DHCP to administer addresses. I dug into my router (AT&T) and noticed that its DHCP service was running as well (servicing a different network). I disabled the router service so there are no more conflicting DHCP services/networks seen on the same Ethernet (L1 & L2) network. I then rebooted the Home Assistant machine and get to the ha> prompt and can access via the web GUI. I have attempted 2 different type of installs on different hard…

CLI not starting on new install

I am running a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. After the update to 6.1 hosed my install, I figured I’d get a fresh build running and restore my data. However, each new boot fails. Everything seems to work fine- no errors pop up on the screen. Eventually it says “Waiting for the Home Assistant CLI to be ready…” which I’d expect. However, after some time a new message comes up on the screen plugged into the Pi: “[WARN] Home Assistant CLI not starting! Jump into emergency console…” No number of reboots fixes…

Okay idk how but I got it working by just reflashing the image for a third time
