Actually I didn’t experience any performance issues, just the input_number sliders are not working. Sadly I need them to test/set the display brightness of a fully kiosk display (Xoro Megapad, wall-mount). Right now the brightness is set to a fixed number, I would like to use a slider to set brightness. When everything works, I would like to use a local brightness sensor to set the brightness level of the display.
Without the input_number, I am not able to test the right commands/values for the display.
If it’s just the slider not working that’s not an issue, an automation will still update the value.
it’s still odd all around. The sliders in the more info pages should adjust it. If they aren’t something deeper is going on.
Have you checked your console for errors? Usually F12 when viewing from the browser.
I could not find anything. But I am not that deep dive programmer. As it is currently a “nice to have”, I try to avoid input_* till it’s fixed.
