I’ve been searching around… and found contradicting information… so I thought Id come to the folks that might have already done it!
I want to use a Shelly relay WITHOUT a physical switch… much like you’d use a SonOff inline on a extension cord…

It is described in the shelly manuals. Just don’t connect the switch to the insert 🤷
The only diagram I have is this one… which shows the switch (circled in red) in place…

Hello I am using a lot of Shelly 1 PM (with power management). You do not need a physical switch… Just consider implementing the documented wiring and forget the portion related to the switch (you do not have to connect anywire to the SW port). You can control the Shelly 1 using the android app or Home assistant…
