As a newby it took me hours to figure out that I had to define input_select.theme , input_boolean.theme_alternative , and input_boolean.dark_mode als Helpers first via Settings, Device & Services.

I looked through a few threads to see if anyone else has this issue, but I didnāt see any mentions so far. After installing the theme pack and using some of the dark mode themes, mosts graphs (history-graph, details on entity card, etc.) have the grid lines the same brighness as the axes and labels, and this can make them pretty hard to read.

Is there a reason the themes are configured this way? If not, it seems that the divider-color parameter controls this color in the themes. I tried using a darker value and it seems much better to me so far, but Iām not sure if there are other places in the UI where this darker color would be problematic.

I agree with you about the readability. Could you suggest a color for the light theme too? Then I will add both.
I played around with the light mode versions and using something like #808080 was about the best I found, but for some it was a bit too dark and others, a bit too light. I think youād need to use a specific color for each theme to get it right.
However, what about using transparency instead? Assuming there arenāt any performance issues, this looks pretty good to me for most of the themes: rgba(127, 127, 127, 0.3)
You could tweak the values for individual themes to get it even better, but this seems like a reasonable value as a baseline for the themes.

Hi there, I came across this theme and love the aesthetics compared to other dark/light themes ive tried.
I do have 1 issue. when hiding the top bar on my samsung tablet i find i end up with a bar along the bottom instead where the background just stops. how can i stretch the background to fit the display correctly??

hi there is some problem with the themes background after the latest update, I can choose the theme in dropdown menu on profile and also on the cards, but the background just get grey nothing happens. I looked at the elements and found out that it says that the file cannot be found.
has someone a fix for this ?

I thought I was alone with this, reinstalled the themes and checked everything but also no chance to get the background running. I had a snapshot from 2022.11 there is the background to see. Unfortunately I donāt know if the last themes update is responsible or the 2022.12 update. If I update from this November backup then the background is gone.

Hello! I faced exactly the same issue with IOS DARK MODE theme. Abybody know how to solve that?
I have a couple of issues, I like to NOT have shadows and boarders.
- I Couldnāt figure out how to remove the shadow and border of the Mushroom chip cards.
- The alternative version of the theme didnāt work at all.
- The theme switcher seems better automation based on sun elevation and not time, I guess I can change your to use the same approach.
The background works for me.

Have the same issue with the background - but not in the mobile version ā¦ there it is working without any problems!
How did you make the header transparent? With HA 2023.04 it just turns to black if you turn down the rgba opaqueness like you said.
