If you have something like adguard or pihole on your network you can do a “split brain” dns and have the current external domain resolve to the internal ip of your HA instance. That way all you’ll ever need is one URL. If your router or provider allow hairpin nat/nat reflection then the same applies. The whole internal/external url stuff is nothing but a workaround for people that can’t use one of the two above solutions.
