Can anyone confirm if the ECO-DIM.07 (ECO-DIM.07 Led-Dimmer Zigbee Pro Taster/Drehschalter 0-200W -) Zigbee Dimmer works with ZHA integration or not?
EcoDim Rotary Dimmer ECO-DIM.07 Zigbee compatibility is not confirming it, so asking here if someone tried out?
Did you get this one working ?
regards,
Jan
I decided to go with an Iluminize actor in the wall, because the EcoDim does not fit into my flush-mounted box and also I now migrated to Zigbee2Mqtt.
So, I cannot answer it…
Ok, thanks.
I ordered one; we will see how it goes
For anyone interested, works with ZHA/Conbee II without any problems.
Thanks for that update. I’ve installed 6 EcoDim 07 devices earlier this year and only now get to work with HA. Hoping this will work with ZHA and Raspbee II as well then.
Do you have an update on this? Do they work with ZHA?
Have just installed my Ecodim .07 ZigBee and integrated via ZHA. Works like a charm, no problems at all.
EDIT: Unfortunately I found an issue with the dimmer when being controller from within home assistant, see this post Ecodim .07 ZigBee Dimmer Issue: Incorrect State Updates for On/Off Actions
EDIT 2: I have found a workaround for my problem (see link) and am now happy with the dimmer.
Hi @gecko17, bumped on this topic.
Please take the time to mark the answer as solution, you do that by selecting the three dots under the post:
Then select the check box:
By doing so this can be useful to other users as well and prevents that someone else steps in to try to help you.
Hi @jasc / or others,
I am new to this, I have instalt a RasberryPi 5 with a conbee II /ZHA but home assistant can’t see the ECO-Dim devices. (paring mode is on / devices is close to conbee II) Do you have any tips? Hope you can help me out.
Hi Eric,
Sorry, didn´t see this message earlier.
Maybe you already have it working and it is a long time ago for me, but will try to answer anyway.
- First install/connect the dimmer (do not install the cover yet)
- make sure it works manually !
There is a small reset button above the led on the left use a paperclip or something sharp to press it
-
optionally reset the device by pressing and holding the reset button for at least 5 seconds. The led will go red for 10 seconds
-
Put ZHA in searchmode - Go to Settings → integrations → ZHA → Devices
click the blue button in the lower right corner (add devices)
The screen will then show something like ‘searching zigbee devices’ -
put the dimmer in pairing mode by pressing reset twice. The led should start flashing blue. When ZHA finds it it will show something like ‘interview started’. Wait for it to finish. optionally you can change the device name here
The blue led will stop flashing and stay on blue for about 10 seconds.
That’s it. you device should now show be visible under ZHA devices
Have have 3 of these dimmers running for more than 1.5 years now without any problem.
btw. remember to connect the Conbee via a cable and not directly into the PI
Hope this helps you or anyone else
I also have a wall switch ED-10010 which works perfectly. I even got it connected with a direct link to the 4 smartbulbs in the room. This way I (or more important my wife) can even switch the lights on or off when my home assistant server has a problem
Beside that I have a ED10012 switch (double switch), but I never got that working correctly sadly. ZHA sees both buttons as the same switch. if anyone has a solution for that, please let me know.
Regards,
Jan
