Hello,
I’m trying to integrate some devices that did not have KNX TP, so I don’t have a KNX/IP router or interface, is it possible or do I need an interface to make it work?
Thank you for your help

Hi !
It should work just fine. In the end, a Router is also just a KNX/IP device (forwarding TP Telegrams). So just set up the KNX integration and select “Routing” as communication type, assign a proper IA and you should be good to go.
Now it works, thank you very much. The only problem is that the status doesn’t seem to work well, for example:
Since some of the devices are connected via wifi and the signal is poor, sometimes they miss some telegrams (I’m trying with a simple switch) and so the switch doesn’t trigger on, but on HA it shows that it’s on, maybe I’m missing something? It looks like it doesn’t wait for the state to change before showing it.
Yes, it doesn’t wait. When you send a telegram, it is assumed to be received by all Knx devices.
State is not really meant as reception confirmation, but as a means of external (from the write-GA) state update channel.
Unfortunately in Knx routing, other than tunneling, there is no reception confirmation.
I understand, the problem is that in the UI the switch is on but actually it’s not. That makes the state address pretty much useless in my opinion. Thank you very much for your help though.
