Is it safe to expose the Homeassistant Observer (port 4357) to the internet?

I want to use an external service to monitor the uptime of my HASS, but I don’t want to expose my entire HASS to the internet to do so. I found that there’s an observer on port 4357, but it seems that it can output logs when there’s a problem that I’m worried could contain compromising information.

Is it safe to expose this port to the internet? Any safer than just exposing my whole frontend?
