Is Somfy izymo IO receiver and transmitter compatible with HA?

Hi all.

All is in the subject.
I have multiple somfy stuff, cover are compatible with HA, light sensors are not (it seems that they are not exposed with the API).
Do you know if izymo could work with HA ?

HI, I don´t think that it´s directly integrable alone (you´ll need the tahoma or conexan somfy element), but in some way it could be, look at:


I think that implementing this way, you could call it using a python script from HA.

Hey, interesting post. Even though I would try to avoid using a RPi just for this.

I was considering to use the Izymo IO Transmitter together with a shelly 2.5. The idea is using the IoT capabilities of the shelly (and it’s existing integration with HA) to send the proper signal to the izymo transmitter.

Any idea if this would work?

Hi!
Following the idea on the post, I have integrated Izymo using two shelly 1 (dry contact) for controlling three blinds.
I copied the program from the somfy remote to the izymo for the three blinds, so when I activate one shelly, the three blinds get closed and when I activate the other one, the three blinds opens.

Shelly 2.5 is not a dry contact, it pass power, so think you´ll burn the Izymo with it…

@dcparga I am also interested in this setup. Did you try using the shellys for this?
