I’ve integrated Grafana graphs into my dashboards and they are wonderful. However, I’ve noticed that if the grafana add-on hasn’t been opened recently the graph will appear as 401: Unauthorized. This can be fixed by clicking the Grafana link on the side bar and then going back.
However, I was wondering if there was a way to ensure the add-on stays active and doesn’t have to be woken up every now and then?
It’s not that it needs to be “woken up”. The ingress session needs to be valid. As far as I am aware there is no solution other than opening the Grafana panel at least once every time you browse to your home assistant dashboard. (see below)
There are other ways of including the graphs but these have issues too. e.g. using a generic camera, but it is low resolution and has a slow polling update.
That’s the method I used to do it. I used &&kiosk=tv to remove the bars at the top as well. Thanks for correcting my “woken up” term with ingress. I’ll do some more research now that i’m up on the terminology.
