can anyone help me with “adding account”?
I have always Invalid authentication.
i have only email verified and try to use it.

So, are you saying you have not verified your phone number in the Life360 app, and you log into that app using your email address & password?

What country are you located in?

Have you checked the Account Authorization Methods section in the integration docs?

Working well with the token method. Thanks! Can’t install HA on my kid’s phones (they have long ago moved out) and it works intermittently on my wife’s so Life360 is the next best choice for tracking in Home Assistant.

First off, thank you for working on this and trying to bring it back from the dead. Installation went smooth and was able to add entities for each member within my circle; however, the location doesn’t appear to update (been roughly 1 hour since person A left Home. Life360 seems to show them driving, etc, but no updates in HA). I did perform the Update Location action, but same behavior. Nothing showing in logs as far as errors go.

Any ideas?

Finally got some log data after getting home last night. It was due to the GPS accuracy not being met. I had gone back through and set to 20m, but setting was still at 10. Think I forgot to hit “Done with Accounts” on step 2 of the configuration, which caused my initial changes not to save. Everything seems to be working as it should now. Thank you again @pnbruckner for keeping this thing alive!

That seems to be a common occurrence (i.e., setting the accuracy limit too low.) I’ve updated the docs and the description for this option in the “config flow”, but I haven’t released those changes yet.

Does anyone see their pets in this integration? we just got a tag for our dog but only I appear as an entity when I set the integration up

No, sorry, I do not know how to access info about pets or tiles. Remember, there is no official, documented API from Life360.
