Finally breaking down to ask for help!
I have 2 locations running HA green with various devices.
lately I am losing zigbee devices off the network, the zigbee stuff is fairly new to me and I have only started using them when i switched to HAgreen
I have tried a few places to search but not even sure how to word the issue to research it, I have one of these running the whole back end of a very busy restaraubnt and one device im losing is the walk in cooler door sensor (with workers who cant remebr to close rthe door!)
The devices will come and go as they please, I have some that are at a distance and I have added line power devices to work as extenders and that solved the issue for a short time
I have some devices within 10 ft of the main HAgreen
all batteries are good and new in the devices
I have tried updates and power cycles that sometimes work
I saw one post about setting the zigbee network to channel 25 that slightly helped
In visualization I have devices not showing connections no matter how many reboots I do, some still work, most dont
Im at a loss, and here we are today
I will post what I have for screenshots let me know any ideas or what I can try or what else I need to post!

ran into new user image block, will see if I can add in comments!
yes thats one of the ones I have followed, But I have some devices that i put right by the main zigbee usb adaptor (the small blue dongle on usb extension cable commonly bought with the HAgreen) and it still adds just fine according to HA but still shows no response like its not even there. after working flawlessly for about a year now
Its looking like im just possibly losing some signal. I have had location 1 for a little over a year now and no real changes but for both locations ill just start with more thirdreality smart plugs to act as boosters
Also on this screenshot, smart buttons on the right show no connections but are now working again
but button2 which has been in the same place for about a year shows connection but does not work at all (had a “button1” as well that was replaced with bedroom buttons when it stopped)
same with “motion1” its working as it should but shows no connections
Location 1 you don’t have enough router/repeater/mesh nodes.
Location 2 you have the nodes but those end devices are not able to reach so there is something blocking/reducing the signal between them and the nearest repeater.
Those are your two issues I spot right away from the images you have provided.
In the case of the dining room smart plug extender, swap it with a different one
Location2 is a quite large restaurant/bar/function room , so that one may have a ton of blockages, I will add more extenders there also looking at smart witches as well to act as both uses. that location is my trial location for a smart restaurant, they love having a tablet to walk around with to control the whole location. I have 2 more locations ready to deploy as i fine tune this one.
location1 is my home/warehouse, about 5000 sqft open area minimal walls
its looking like I should find more zwave/zigbee devices compared to wifi style smart switches
Thankfully I have an open budget with the restaurants and can explore devices as i choose to find the best ones,
my main purchasing is on amazon for ease of returns with failed ideas (like stupid thermostats lately) , is there another online store that has a better selection?
I am also learning the new ways with switching to HA. my previous was just amazon alexa with normal wifi devices so slowly migrating those away
You are best to ask for store recommendations by also stating where you are. as I am in Australia my general is Ebay, Amazon, Aliexpress and OzSmartthings in most cases if its not via someone that makes a specific device on order through their store direct from a share project they put up.
As for control yes you want to move away from any cloud reliant interactions and triggers so that the core and critical things are fully local only and only ever bring in things from the internet side if there but never as a primary device or trigger.
Don’t hesitate to mix tech based on device needs and reach, I have a mix of matter over wifi and matter over thread as well as zigbee devices in my setup to have some redundancy etc as I also see what I can find in the way of z-wave since getting the zwa-2 when I could afford one.
I am in the USA
When I got he HA I completely dumped everything off of alexa and only use her for music and weather
I switched from using alexa for voice commands to control everything back to wall switches and the remote buttons and my phone app all on HA
I have not gotten into matter stuff yet to learn, I did try some matter thermostats for the restaurant but could not get any to connect so those went back and had to stick with a honeywell thermostat for now
Let’s pick one location as a start.
What’s the zigbee channel # you are using for your zigbee mesh network?
And what are the wifi channel #s you are using in the same space?
based on another post that suggested settings its set to 25
not sure on any of the wifi, my buddy that does IT has those all setup theres 6 of them scattered throughout the warehouse
Then you probably have seen the graph in this article, that if your zigbee channel is at 25, you will want to move your 2.4GHz wifi channels to only 1 and 6, for better chance to fight interference. Talk to your IT guy and they should know what to do.
Also, consider install the WiFi Analyzer app, or something similar, on your phone, to survey around your warehouse and see whether there are any noisy / strong hotspots or APs near you at 2.4GHz channel 11.
