So these ones in this thread I’ve used are very rudimentary and only support on, off, toggle.
Good as a cheap means of turning on/off a light but that’s all.
But the Aqara H1 ( Xiaomi QBKG12LM control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT ) on a dual wall switch has single_left, single_right, single_both, double_left, double_right, double_both, hold_left, hold_right, hold_both, release_left, release_right, release_both.
About twice the cost, but can do a heck of a lot more with it, and supports decoupling the physical switch from the power terminals, so you could for example control a smart light from the switch without someone turning of power to said light.
