Hi YuQiang,
do you have any news on the non encryption version?
Hi YuQiang,
Any chances for this to be released?
Hi , we released an encryption version ,please check this link: https://we.tl/t-dASFXa7x9u
Attachment is the new firmware of MC6, you can modify the MQTT server by inputing the password 1976, the encryption is AES256, assume you input the mqtt server is www.163.com , the key is mqttserver + aes256ecb7, so the final key is www.163.comaes256ecb7 .
Topic for the MC6:
- mc6 publish data topicļ¼ updData/MacAddress
- MC6 subscribe command topic ļ¼temprx/MacAddress
mqtt_json_protocal - english.xlsx is the protocal between MC6 and MQTT broker.

Yu
Hi YuQiang,
Iāve tried out the new firmware, changed to use my own MQTT broker, but have a question on the AES256 key.
Iām using a subdomain similar to āmqtt.myserver.comā which using your rules gives an AES256 key of mqtt.myserver.comaes256ecb7 .
Iām getting encrypted base64 data at my broker, but cannot decrypt with this key - for one it is not 32 chars (only 27) long to be a valid AES256 key.
Is the firmware applying additional padding to the key other than appending aes256ecb7 to the server name, or is it applying some kind of function to obtain a derived key of the correct length?
Apologies if Iām missing something!
Paul
MQTT Command formats.
I have also tried the latest MQTT firmware and can only get it to work with 32 character AES256 key lengths - everything works well provided the key is exactly this length.
I am now trying to send commands to the device - has anyone got this working?
I have read some earlier posts mentioning the correct format for mqtt commands to the device, can anyone please confirm what format works for unencrypted mqtt commands like settemp and I will see if the same format works when encrypted.
Thanks.
Mike
Dear YuQiang,
This version is working very well, but i just noticing that the brightness is always at maximum.
Is there any way to correct this, and release as a OTA update?
Any change to have an update on this?
Best Regards,
Bruno Almeida

Hi Janpas,
The latest batch MC6 which shipped out October 2021 has the OTA upgrade feature, if we have new firmware is released we would upload the .bin file to our cloud server, normally you can see a button named āUpgradeā in system infirmation menu.
If your MC6 is not latest you need a programmer, you can buy it from this link https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.79072e8ddapRtJ&id=565585985680&_u=on0n2m04eeb .
