Hi,
I want to confirm that it works too with:
#1
Brand: Rotenso
Model: Ukura (U35Wi/o)
Year: 2020
Market: PL
Basically any A/C that can take in OSK103 (or newer OSK105) will work with midea-ac & esphome.
For ESP-Module Dongle info: GitHub - dudanov/iot-uni-dongle: An project of universal minimalistic Wi-Fi dongle for various IOT appliances controlled via UART. (On photo my module based on iot-uni-dongle circuit)
Here is some more info about the USB cable adapter:
USBpin -- color -- function
1 -- Red -- +5V
2 -- Orange -- Uart Rx (ESP8266: GPIO3) (receive data from A/C)
3 -- Brown -- Uart Tx (ESP8266: GPIO1) (send data to A/C)
4 -- Black -- GND (0V)
On the display board there is JST XH 4pin 2.5mm pitch (you can buy from ali a box with those for ~2-3$)
USB pinout is here: Universal Serial Bus (USB) - HwB
You can use some USB-A extension cable, USB-OTG cable and cut off other side, or just solder wires to USB-A socket and crimp JST XH terminals on wires.
And here is my module from bottom with added description of signals:
An here one more photo:
Hi,
The following AC is working with this component:
Brand: Airfel
Model: LTXN35UBV1B/LRXN35UBV1B
Year: 2019(?)
Market: HU
(There is an other model with lesser performance: Airfel LTXN25UBV1B/LRXN25UBV1B, I think it is the same electronics, so it has to work)
Best regards!
Hey,
I found a model working on the German market. It is working perfectly with the Wifi dongle
It’s the Midea Real Cool 35
Brand: Midea
EAN: 4048 164 10826 8 (Real Cool 35)
Year: 2021
Market: DE
It’s a little hard to get to the module. If interested I can add more pictures and instructions on the procedure.
Thanks to @dudanov for the excellent module! AC is working flawlessly.
Cheers
Just wanted to confirm this is also working with my Samsung 3.5kW aircon-unit which is another Midea spin-off:

List updated
Brand: Lennox
Model: MWMC009S4-1P / MWMC012S4-1P
Year: 2023 (installed, but model is possibly older, current generation seems to be -3P)
Market: US
Note: power and humidity show 0, other features work:
Manufacturer: KoolKing
Model: Monosplit Serie KK (12000btu)
Year: 2021
Market: Italy - EU
Model ID: CF-KK12A
Link
Notes: This KoolKing model is the same as the MrCool 3rd Gen mini split that is sold in the US (with the obvious C → F change), and it has exaclty the same module as henkvdt’s here
I used the DIY ESPhome dongle with @aceindy yaml file and it works good. Except that it shows as 0 for both Power and Humidity, even if it sees it as available characteristics.
Did anyone have tested with:
Midea Breezeless MSFAAU-12HRFN8-MSFAAU-12HRFN8
or
Midea All Easy Pro Nordic UV MSEPBU-12HRFN8-MOX330-12HFN8-UV
Any help appreciated.
As stated in the title of this thread, and two times afterwards, please ask questions in the corresponding thread:
This thread is to keep a list of all known working models.
Thank you very much!
This is exactly the same PCB as in a Samsung AR12TXHQASINEU indoor unit( European market)
So that should work too.
But where can I get it? The ESP module and do I need to alter some wiring or is it plug & play?
I have the same air conditioner, is this a plug & play device or do I need to alter wires or code?
And what is the (Android) app for being able to use it?
