Midea_dehumi Custom Component (Midea/Inventor Invmate EVA II PRO WiFi dehumidifier)

hi,
how do you get those connecting to HA?

i didnt see any wifi module available or button on the panel to initiate wifi connection

thx

@Ace132 good idea to mount the device to the wall, so you could use the external outlet.
But how are you measuring the load of this container?
Best guess or are you checking it after x hours runtime?

Correct and half of the time I was to late. So now I added a condence pump.

I may be missing something very basic but I have the Inventory EVA Ion Pro and have installed the NetHome Plus app but can’t add the appliance to the app. It keeps asking to connect to the net_ac_xxxx WiFi network but my appliance is broadcasting a different network. How does one successfully add the appliance to the app?
Thanks
Rahul

Which app do you use?
So I tested the old app Midea Air, which will soon no longer be available, and the SmartHome works. Simply follow the instructions in the app.
So I tested the Nethome Plus app and it also works. If I were you, I would deactivate the 5GHz network in the router because such devices usually only work in the 2.4GHz network. Your problem will be that your smartphone has connected to the 5GHz network

I am using the NetHome Plus app and have connected my phone to my 2.4 GHz network.
When I start the wifi broadcast on the appliance it broadcasts the SSID SmartLife-6122 while the NetHome Plus app is looking for an SSID in the format net_a1_XXXX. Therefore the NetHome Plus app is not finding the appliance to connect to.

(The first screenshot is the wifi settings page of my phone.)

The problem you probably have is that your cell phone wants to connect to the Internet but the WiFi on the device does not offer Internet and that is why it doesn’t work. This is a common problem that you will encounter again and again. Smartphones are sometimes a bit stubborn in this regard. Try deactivating the internet too. Simply deactivate everything that allows your smartphone to connect to other devices and the Internet, at some point your smartphone will stop doing what you want it to do.
