Hello everyone. I’ve bought an Acemagic AK1 plus, a mini pc with RGB LEDs on case. It becomes with windows installed and RGB LEDs could be software controlled. I’m asking if someone tried to control (switch on/off) directly from HA operating system.
Thank you so much!
Have a look in /sys/class/leds
Thank you Nick but I have no idea how to program an on/off switch in HomeAssistant OS for the onboard LEDs…
Can you control them via the command line?
I don’t know how to do. That’s why I’ve written.
What do you see under /sys/class/leds?
I see another “leds” folder.
Can you help? Thanks!
I am not even sure if the leds on this piece of hardware are controllable in linux, but take a poke around in that directory to see.
Are you sure what you are seeing under /sys/class/leds is another directory called leds? Or a file called leds?
Go another level down. If it is another directory called leds, what is inside that?
Hi Nick, thank you for answering! I’m pretty sure it’s an empty folder. That’s what I see.
Thank you again.
file leds
It’s something that can be done in your opinion?
Give me the output of file leds
Leds file is empty. How to generate the output file?
Ok then maybe it’s not able to be done.
Anyway you didn’t answer my question. I’m out of here.
Anybody that could help? Thank you!
Goodmorning,
I found this python script to control RGB LEDs onboard: Mini PC T9Plus RGB LED Control Program [rigacci.org]
Can someone suggest the right way to use the script in HomeAssistant?
Thank you!
Good morning, is there someone who could help me? Thank you!
