Thanks a lot.
I got the airco yesteray with an inbuiIt WiFi and it works like a charm for me.
Thanks for posting this, I tried to automate the preset of the AC with the script and I always get an error with fan mode!
I wish also fan mode could have the drop-down box like vertical and horizontal settings (which are provided by this integration services)⌠but I think this is due to Home Assistant itself?
Installed this through HACS for two SRK 35 ZS-W. Works well, Iâd say even better than their Smart M-Air app.
I had this working very well, but now that I come home from my holiday all it says is âUnavailableâ:
The airco itself is still working fine with the remote and M-Air app. Given that I am quite a noob with all of this I am unsure what is wrong. I have rebooted all relevant devices but this doesnât fix the issue.
Has anyone got any idea where to start looking?
Edit: well I fixed this by goind to HACS and clicking the three dots after âSmart M-Air (Mitsubishi WF-RAC)â and hitting redownload and finishing with a reboot.
For future reference I now know a work-around/fix but I still would like to know how this could happen and even better how this could be prevented. Does anyone have a clue?
Did your devices have a static or reserved IP? If it changes IP Iâm not sure if it can still find it (unless you redeploy the module).
Is it possible to use left/right and up/down swing ?
I can only find one swing.
Hello @jeatheak .
Thank you so much for the integration.
I donwloaded it yesterday and automated the switch on/off based on my solar panels electricity production.
François
I received 2 SRK25ZS-WF units yesterday and was able to connect them to HA with ease and without any problem, using this wonderful and well-functioning integration.
Thank you very much for the hard work.
After several months of being available in HA and working without a problem, I also âall of a suddenâ experience that the airco is unavailable in HA whilst perfectly functioning in the Smart M-Air app.
Iâm about to try your hack in HACS, but I was wondering if you have found the root cause if this and, of course, a better solution than the reinstall hack?
- my devices have a static IP address from the router
- nothing was changed otherwise
NOTE: it did the trick !!! Thanks !!!
Thanks for this integration, working great so far. Does it support setting the AC to vacant property mode? Using the Mitsubishi app this sets it to 10 degrees heat, but you cannot use it in the app scheduler so it would be great to be able to do this through HA.
Love your integration. The only thing I am missing is the implementation of an external sensor indoors. So you can see in the thermostat what the temperature in the room is, instead of the temperature of the internal sensor of the airconditioning.
After HA Core upgrade to 2024.1 I get a message about a deprecated constant as shown below.
Is there anybody else with the same message?

Jup, same here. Will change the config and make a update.

I have some problems with the intergration.
I suddenly stopped working (unavailable). I deleted the AC from the Intergrations menu. And tried to add it again. Doesnât work unfortunate.
I also reinstalled it via HACS. When restarting HA in automaticly finds the AC, but when pressing âsendâ to save it it gives the error âKan niet verbinden met de Aircoâ (cannot connect to Airco).
How can I possibly fix this? I have singed a static IP to the AC via my router.
Hi @Rubbervdh,
-
do you see any messages in the log regarding the error? (search for Mitsubishi). (HA â Settings â System â Logs)
-
And/or did you add any extra mobilephone for access on the Mitsubishi Smart M-Air app?
-
Has something changed about the wifi? Accesspoint moved? (the inner Mitsubishi units have a very poor antenna)
Thanks for your response. I donât know exactly what the problem was. I lost power recently and since then it stopped working. I just reset the whole AC and reconnected it to the M-Smart app. If I add it to HA now it does work!
I guess it had something to do with Accespoint moved indeed because I needed to reset an accespoint too since the power loss.
Never managed to integrate my airoc so very happy to try this.
i try to conenct the airco, i get this message, anyone any idea what i do wrong?
Could not connect with the Airco: HTTPConnectionPool(host='192.168.2.3', port=51443): Max retries exceeded with url: /beaver/command/getDeviceInfo (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0xffff7e54f010>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused'))
Awsome!
Installed two units without any problems (besides that one of the WF-RAC modules was broken and needed to be replaced). Units were discovered quickly and the integration works much better (and faster) than the Mitsubishi App on the phone.
Thanks for your work!
Does this integration works fully local? Does the WF-RAC Modul requires a working cloud connection to work with the integration?
It is local as it requires the IP address of the WF-RAC to work. So it doesnât need a working cloud connection you can forget about the Mitsubishi app (excluding for the firmware updates).
