More shortcuts could be added in the date ranges, after pressing the Calendar icon in the History section. Now there are only: Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week.
Some ranges could be added such as: Last 7 days, Last 30 days… so that it does not exclude the current date.

It would be great to have shortcuts to date ranges expanding at least to one year back.
Ranges that show back from current day are more useful than those that are stuck to this week or last week or so.
Even a bit more granularity on the near past range for being able to specify down to “last hour”, “last 6 hours”, etc.
The vast majority of things that I want to look at in history is for some span of time just prior to the present. Often just a few hours.
The popup selection card is rich but perhaps too rich and offers time ranges that most people don’t want as a shortcut.
Compare this with things like the Google Cloud Console for reviewing metrics that has sensible options such as 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 4 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days. And when you click and drag across the graph it highlights the area and when you release the mouse it zooms to that selection (and offers a “reset” link at the top to get back to the original timeframe.
