WTH is the range selector in the history viewer oriented at calendar ranges?

The history viewer allows selecting some past date ranges. Unfortunately, “the last 30 days” etc. is not among them. The quick selection is based on calendar units, which makes no sense to me.

The time selectors could at least be moved to the top - on mobile i need to scroll to adjust times. Twice if I’m editing start and end because it automatically closes the popup and applies it.
