Love to have the possibility to add energy dashboards as per need.

Considered how much the Devs already have in their ābacklogā, have any of you guys considered building an additional, or multiple dashboards your self ? , if your not interested in Custom-Integration, then why not use the Native CARDS , the Energy-Dashboard, is more or less the same as any (thou itās for good reason blocked for nitty picky fingers)

Maybe you need to have a look at the definition of feature requests vs backlog items since you are so worried to think the devs need you going around posting "-100"s on the former.
Another useful exercise would be to read at least the very first post of the thread you post into. You know, just to be double check that you actually have a better understanding of the problem than the other 195 persons that already voted.

If you bothered to search this forum, you would find many, and some very awesome, Energy-Dashboards , made, And shared by people here(there are multiple Topics on this subject), you are closing up on 2 years since you posted your FR( which there are also another few of, very similar), how is that for an āengagementā
PS: sorry if i pissed you of with the -100 , it just puzzled me that so many still haven found a solution , as it as mentioned, is possible to have as many as you like, with a little work, not by just a clickNadd
The problem with the native cards: You can create a wonderful Dashboard that has the same look as the predefines Energy Dashboardā¦ but also with same data !?
We (or I at least) neded 2 separate Dashboards with its own grid, solar, battery,ā¦ (for a 2nd Building i.e.)
So when you can tell us how to configure these cards to show other energy-entities please make us happy!
There are a few custom:cards built upon the native cards, and a bunch of similar cards, and variations
history-explorer-card, power-flow-card, gauge cards etc. etc.And as mention examples/shared-code from enthusiastic people, in here
And yes there are "limitations in/with the native āEnergy View/cardsā, even thou alot have been added, in past few years/months ( Since the energy-dashboard was āaddedā as a ādefault alternativeā ) SO it is an ongoing process (with priorities as everything else)
I did mention above the key-word āsearchā, looking at your āread-timeā you are in the bottom of the majority of voters (a majority which actually also seems to be max 10 hours read-time( i know one donāt have to be logged in to search/read)

But considered your readtime and my previous commends/tips, to people whom for several years, not have found time/options to create i.e multiple-energy-dashboards, or dashboards including āalternativeā entities such as power-sensors multiple systems, or what ever one like/need. i still have these simple advises .( Search, read, create ā¦ Or wait for a click-N-add Option(which satisfies your need)
I did noticed your quite new(in here), so your question is relevant, my last words in this āFRā to you is
Install HACS HACS Ā· GitHub , in HACSās āFrontendā type i.e " energy " And/ also search the forum for inspiration/tips/links/codeā¦ And Who knows. there are maybe a Solar-integration for your provider/system( which supports āsplitted/multipleā stand alone grids)
I know that i am new here, and a feature request is not a critic at this wonderful software. It is an idea for the future use of this software.
But when you say we should use the NATIVE energy cards to build a SECOND e-dashboard than you didnt read the manuals of these cards by yourself. Its not possible to configure the cards to use other entities than used in the energy dashboard.
With custom cards its possible - and i use it fyi.
But when HA would have a second e-dashboard than it would be easier.
Not everybody using HA is a IT specialist!

True i didnāt read, the Docs about the default cards, i tried some of the the cards, when they got āavailableā , but i found they donāt āfitā in my other Dashboards Design/Layout , and yes i only have 1 Grid/Power-provider, 1 Integration.
There are many good reasons/causes for people to have an additional Energy-Dashboard(and very different needs than i.e OP), in above commends.
I Did mentioned, in my first post " (thou itās for good reason blocked for nitty picky fingers) ". The cards they are part of a very specific native component, which currently donāt support i.e multiple āGridsā , itās not build for it, same as your 2 grids (or other persons above) most likely not is provided through the one and same āpower-lineā itās 2 different system, 2 different bills etc. And some people above also have 2 maybe 3 different solar system/integrations. The Default Dashboard is a Component build for 1 āgridā (as far as i know) it takes time and thoughts to remodeling such, based on current and future needs/requirements.
Many of the āFeaturesā people are mentioning in above commends( In this FR) have been implemented, + A-lot more FRās added to energy dashboard since OP, created this FR ( Which btw are Very similar, or same as others, Posted more than half a year, since he found it suitable to express the same thoughts ) So OP might have āforgottenā to search first, before Posting this FR, however he did manage to ākeep it aliveā , but obviously still āconcernedā

Great Feature Request! Several energy dashboards would be required for an apartment blockā¦

@stefan75 Iāve voted for this feature because it seems the obvious and easiest way (from the userās standpoint) to monitor multiple solar installs / utility meters in the same Home Assistant instance.
Do you have an example (YAML / pointer to docs or hints) for creating a custom card that would duplicate the Solar Production (at least) and Sources cards but using different entities? I already have the entities I want on my own dashboard, but would like the graph / history / etc. functionality connected to these entities. Iāve already added a type: energy-solar-graph to this dashboard, but as you note there is no way to edit the entities this card uses to be different from those on the Energy card.
i use the power-flow-card plus for this. you can define the entities and much more.

Thanks @stefan75. Seems like a really useful card, however both solar systems to be monitored power different buildings (different meters), and I like the graphical view throughout the day in addition to the flow. So I think the ability to have multiple Energy dashboards is what I really need.
Currently I will fall back on using the manufacturerās site for monitoring the second system, but of course would prefer to have a second dashboard so both could be monitored in HA. I have added a dashboard for the second system that displays the current entity values.
