Hi,
I have a MiGo bridge, i think i can’t use MigoLink app.
You can ask the Saunier Duval after-sales service if you can use Migolink with your gateway model
Result: It’s not possible to use Migolink with Migo bridge…
I apologise if this has been answered before…but does this work with the “new” 940f Gateway at this point in time?
Thanks.
Will the MyVaillant integration still work with the new HACS v2.0.0.0?
One of the “Breaking changes” 'listed:
- The
sensor
platform has been removed." makes me nervous.
makes me nervous.
it works for me
Thanks. Works for me too. The “breaking change” note about the sensor platform is apparently concerning HACS itself, rather than any integrations installed by it.
Someone tested it and it worked, I put the exact setup in the docs.
@Thomas151515 you can enable / disable the circulation pump with the corresponding calendar entity.
First of all - great job! Thanks a lot for that !
I am using a VR920 module and everythings seems to work except setting the temperature. It always shows 0,0 °C and if I set another temperature it falls back to 0,0 °C.
The communication works fine because on my remote control VR700/4 I can see that the temperature was set to 0,0°C.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Unexpected Error when trying to add myVAILLANT connect hub.
I’ve not used my homeassistant in a long time. loaded it up last night, updated HA & OS, HACS & myVaillant integration. All seems fine. But when I go to log into it, it just comes up with unexpected error. If I try with the wrong username or password it tells me that its the wrong username/pass, when I use the correct details, its unexpected error.
Any advice (total novice at HA)
Sorry. Got it working. There was still old data left from previous installation of myvaillant. cleared that and its now working
Hi, novice home assistant user here.
I have successfully installed the integration. Using the data from the hot water storage tank, I can see that although my DHW system is insulated I am losing a lot of heat when the circulation pump is on. (2 hours to drop 5 degrees, rather than 10 hours when the pump is off). This is causing unnecessary cycling of the ASHP when the hot water is not being used.
We don’t really have set times of use of the hot water (4 adults and 2 kids in the house) so scheduling it is difficult)
All my lights in the house are shelly, so I am thinking of linking the running of the circulation pump to when lights in the bathrooms or kitchen are turned on. I have performed a little testing, and it only takes 15 seconds or so for the hot water to get to the taps once the pump is switched on. So I think this would work.
I can see from the previous posts that the circulation pump can be controlled by a calendar entry. My question is, can I just set the calendar to 24hr, then turn the calendar on and off? for example linking it to the lights?
My alternative route will be to keep the circulation pump on in myVaillant for 24hrs, then use a wifi enabled fused spur (linked to home assistant) to switch the pump on and off.
However if I can do this without any additional hardware, it would be optimal!
Thanks
After having no issues with my custom hot water schedule in months, it suddenly completely failed today.
The error:
Fehler: 404, message=‘Not Found’, url='https://api.vaillant-group.com/service-connected-control/end-user-app-api/v1/systems/66916eb8-69ff-42c4-b053-6f42bfe8877f/tli/domestic-hot-water/255/temperature
Seems to indicate that something has changed in the API?
I have this issue also. It occurs most of the time.
Sometimes reloading the integration helps for a brief period but then it happens again. I though I might be being theologies by the api, but I’ve adjusted the config to query the api much less and I still have the issue.
Hello all
Do you know where can i find api documentation for myVAILLANT ?
I asked them for an access but no reply since a while.
@pdd how did you manage to develop this ?
i would like to start integration in my Fibaro system.
thanks for helping.
Merci.
Installed the integration on home assistant SO without an issue, but i have a question.
How can i know in realtime if the heat pump is making DHW?
I was thinking about doing the same but with presence sensors.
Here is guide of someone doing same thing but with smart plug.
I don’t have wifi module for Vaillant (and it is quite expensive) so if someone can confirm you can turn on and off the circulation pump I would be very appreciative. I don’t understand what that means you can use a calendar entity for that.
I installed a myVaillant connect VR940f to my AerothermPlus ASHP w VWZ controller yesterday. Installation of the intergration went supersmooth , only issue is that I do NOT see any of the energy&power entities. In the app they work fine. Under HA Intergrations I see myVaillant w 4 Devices. I added all to the Dashboard, but no energy&power info. Anyone has any ideas how to fix this??
Sorted: waited a day and reloaded intergration: all working now!
Any suggestions to integrate electricity prices.
Or a tweak to setup a calendar like myVAILLANT has?
