Home Assistant allows you to use NAS as extra storage but not a USB storage device. Now you can move the home assistant data to the USB drive and then use it that way. But I don’t want to move my home assistant install. I know some users run plex or Frigate. They run into the issue of running out of storage even though using a NAS is the safest way to keep your data but the fact that USB storage isn’t even an option is blew my mind. I think the idea would be great and a lot of people would love this feature.
