Need help with Zwave Association and RF9601 & RF9617

I have a question( maybe silly) I got me a RF9601 Zwave Eaton sw and RF9617 addon sw to use for 3way location. both of them registered in zwave js and rf9601is working fine mechanically and through the HA but RF9617 I don’t know how to pair with main one. And where I can find a Multicast in Zwave JS

It pairs using zwave association, nothing to do with multicast.

Did you read the thread linked above? I wrote on it you need to use zwavejs2mqtt to set associations, and included links to the documentation that include the screenshots for how to set them.

be aware that you can’t run zwavejs2mqtt and the zwavejs add-on at the same time since they can’t both access the zwave controller simultaneously.

Migrate from ZwaveJS to Zwavejs2mqtt

to set an association in zwavejs2mqtt, go to the control panel, scroll down to the device and expand it (in this case your red series dimmer), then click “groups” . Existing associations are listed. If by that you mean disable the zwavejs add-on then yes.

Don’t disable the zwavejs integration tho.

You could run into a problem if you installed the zwavejs add-on at the same time as installing the integration.

The supervised add-on will restart itself automatically.
