Nefit Easy Thermostat

For a while i have been busy to (try) connect my Bosch Nefit Easy into HA but without any luck.
i’am running HA on a Intel NUC.
use GitHub - ksya/ha-nefiteasy: Nefit Easy connection for Home Assistant download and installation of the repo without any problem but when opening the add on i can put in the serial number, access key and password and then it stops.
100% sure that everything filled in is correct but still got the message that there cannot made a connection with server.
anybody has this running?
if so how can i make it work

Post the exact logs for more help

these are the messages.
any idea?

That’s still no logging but screenshots.

There might be 2 thing wortth to try.

  1. Wait. It happens (to me) multiple times it cannot connect due to various reasons. 1-2 times a week. Mostly due to bosch backend unavailability and it solves most of the times.

2.have a look here GitHub - ksya/ha-nefiteasy: Nefit Easy connection for Home Assistant skip to “issues” and select all (not only open). Lots of tips there.

ok.
i am a newby so where can i find the logging?

update: found it.
these are the logs

Still no luck to get it working even with all the tips.
does anybody has this running well in HA?

I have it for years. Do you run a firewall/pihole/other filter?

no nothing like that.
have you done some portforwarding or anything like that.?
do you have made something in the config.yaml?
i am out of options so any help will be great

Have you opened and issue like I said before? here: GitHub - ksya/ha-nefiteasy: Nefit Easy connection for Home Assistant

Have you done the buster change in openssl?

did you enable debug logging? post the logs here.

First yes, but cannot find anything there!
second, no! can you explain how to change the buster in openssl?
third, i deleted the nefit but can install it again to see the logs.
maybe the second will be the most imported one!!

read the docs:?

It depends on how your home assitant is installed. If you have hassos you can install the file editor addon the you can go to the specified dir and do the change as in the docs.

in the above addon be sure to set

Option: enforce_basepath (required)

If set to true, access is limited to files within the /config directory.

done that, but the question is how i get into the openssl
sorry but i am pretty new in this

Read my post above

sorry for this (stupid) question but i cannot find any directory like this.
is this something in nefit easy directory or somewhere else

In homeassistant

but where

You are sharing studio code server. I advised to use file editer addon :man_shrugging:. You might be able to go up into the root via that as well but I do not know how.

i have try to access the openssl.cnf but also with the file editor i can not find it.
is ther anbbody who can give me some explanation how to access and chnage this file using the file editor?
