I have the same issue… still no luck in solving this problem

Working fine now… not sure why but it worked when I apt get update + upgrade

I updated too but no luck. Is the status of the Neo powerplug still active in HA frontend? Are you able to monitor energy consumption too?

Yes… I see loads of data for the plugs

Hmm I guess something went wrong then in the pairing process. Did you just follow the instructions that came with the power plug?

where did you buy it?

It works well? YOu have the state in HA?

Just press the button for a few sec and then add it to the network

I have 3 of them and they work without issues. I bought them through aliexpress. i also bought two door sensors but have not tested them yet.

And you connect them to a Zwave gateway? Which?

Yes I use them in combination with the Z-Wave.Me uzb stick

cool, the cheapest soluton I saw. How is the range? You use it attached to a pi3 running ha?

And id it the newest z-wave protocol (I think gen5 or something)?

Yes I run it on a PI3 and have no issues with the stick, the range is good but that is also depending on the number of powered nodes off course. It is Z-Wave plus so the newest protocol (gen5 etc is only relating to aeon labs products).

I got it added in HA now. But I have lots of sensors. Is this normal?

Yes, well that’s the case with me as well, one switch and a lot of sensors. Most of them you want to hide I think.

do you need to get a zwave license?

p.s. copy paste from their website
The UZB comes with two versions: UZB1 is the plain stick without any additional software license. It can be used with any third party Z-Wave controller software. UZBWAY is the combination of the UZB stick plus a license key for the Z-Way controller software. Z-Way will always require a Z-Wave.Me hardware to run, either a UZB (with license) or a Razberry board.

No you use it in Home Assistant with Open-ZWave so you don’t need any license.

This is odd. After configuring and giving it a friendly name it works good. But then I unplugged the PowerPlug and plug it in again, the state cannot be changed in HA. When I push the button of the PowerPlug the state does change in HA.

How you solved this? I am thinking about buying some of Neo CoolCam products as their price is lower than average.

Mine seems to be broken and I was going to send it back but it’s more expensive then buying a new one.
