Google is bringing back API access for Nest Devices at some point (possibly for a while at least)
Right now they’re only offering a way to register interest.
There’s more info and interest form here: https://developers.google.com/nest/device-access
This might be useful in the future assuming there’s still someone using nest thermostats once it launches.

well played google… well played…
- stop api access while called nest
- asking ppl to switch over to google account from nest
- using “new” api access to temp ppl to join the google account merge…

and when everyone has switched to Google the cut the API line: There are not enough interested ppl to stay the API alive… then we f.ck.d up…
