I’ve noticed that couple of weeks ago, but was thinking it is connected with my old hass.io version. yesterday I’ve finally updated to 0.64.3, and even changed the raspberry from RPi2 to RPi3 - with no luck…
my nest thermostat connects without issues [yes, it asked for authorisation, after moving to the new device & software], but it’s readouts are completely wrong, away_mode doesn’t work at all, changing options via hassio brings no results.
did you noticed something similar? is there anything I can do to bring it back to normal life?
Mine works fine, but there is quite some delay between a command issued and the status fed back.into HA.
I had issues where it looked like Nest was chaning its schedules on its own, it turned out to be one of my automations that was did not have the correct conditions. I have a Nest V3 if that makes any difference…
yeah, first I thought it’s the delays, because I had them before, but the lag was about 60 minutes tops, and now even few hours after nest parameters change - I see no movement in hassio’s dashboard and the same is the other way.
when I’ll be back from work, I think I’ll try to close, delete and then recreate developer’s account and connection, we’ll see if that helps.
ok, don’t know if it was needed, but due to some problems during the reconfiguration - I had to perform the account delete/recreate procedure twice, but I got my Nest to work again. for now.
as I mentioned:
I’ve deleted nest config from my yaml files
I’ve deleted my nest developers project
recreated nest developers project and got new client/product IDs etc.
configured nest in the yaml files
it’s also important to delete nest.conf file from config/ directory.
for now my nest is working and speaking with hass.io without problems. I’ve got a slightly longer lag than usual, but all switches and settings works both ways.
we’ll see if it changes in a couple of days. I hope not
