New Integration idea

I recently got a “FIXD” device that plugs into the OBDII port on my car. It connects to an app on my iphone through bluetooth and informs me of any issues with my car. Between my wife and Kids I have 5 kids. Trying to keep track of whats going on with their cars is a pain, especially when they don’t care about the lights until something stops working.
What I would like to see is a device, could be a current device like FIXD, or a new device, that plugs into the ODBII port on a car and reports the status of whatever is available and makes sense through the port. It should have a small rechargeable battery in it that lets it connect and transmit whenever it connects to homeassistant. This way I can monitor each car, know when it needs service so I can deal with it proactively.
I’m looking for someone with the skills and knowledge to make this happen.
Thanks

Googling suggests FIXD is compatible with the Torque app, and there’s an existing integration for that - so you may be in luck. Not that I use either.

Unfortunately Torque only works on Android devices. There is an app called Torque out on the iphone store, but it’s not the same thing.

Just ordered one. Sounds perfect.
