v.1.4.4 was released and ready for OTA - does anyone have a changelog as the update notice remained empty
The pull request on z2m that introduces firmware 1.4.4 states:
- introduces Smart Temperature Control feature
- includes stability improvements / minor fixes
Sonoff has official release notes for 1.4.4 that mentions changes to ‘Adaptive Mode’
Thank you!
Where can i turn on Adaptive Mode in z2m?

anyone has any idea what the impact on the battery might be? I can imagine that modulating constantly requires more power then turning off and back on every few hours.
I guess the battery life will be similar to what I already get with providing adaptive control by constantly changing the min/max valve positions from HA (Versatile Thermostat integration). Rechargeable AA batteries went from fully charged to 20% (self-reported by the TRV) in exactly 3 months - but to be honest, it stays off most of the time.
One thing to keep in mind is that during the adaptive modulation, the changes are likely going to be small, just few steps, while with a full on/off, the valve travels all the way every time.
this needs to be merged into master, then we need to wait for the next main release of z2m.
