Nexa LML-710 doorbell automation

I have a Nexa LML-710 doorbell which I’ve added to Telldus live
The doorbell shows up just fine in HA, but I can’t figure out how to get the information when the button is pressed so I can automate actions for this, like activate a camera or flash some lights.

This post seems to be close to the solution but I can’t get it to work.

Anyone have any ideas?

It should show as a switch in the states table I think, look in the sidebar menu, click <> and search for it under switches.
Mine shows…

Then use it like any other switch in HA.

Mine shows up in HA just like yours.

How do you get the information when someone rings the bell? I see that your bell, like mine, only have two attributes and is set to always be on.

Yep, in the end I setup Telldus Live to send a push notification to my phone, as even with assumed_state = false it always shows as on :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW the same goes for RFLink it always shows as on :frowning:
