Nexus 7: Make HA Front-end web page show in one column

Is there any possibility of making the front end show all the cards in one column instead of two? With Nexus 7 in portrait mode, the controls are quite small and the sun’s state along with date/time gets broken into two lines, so I would want to change the max-width properties, hopefully it does not mess up the GUI when using a smartphone. But at least the front-end can be more finger-friendly, especially with the slider’s handle being so small.

If it’s not possible to do this in the latest version of Home Assistant, can my thread be moved into Feature Request? The reason why I ask is because sometimes there are things that are possible in HA that should’ve been posted in Configuration instead of Feature Request and there are things that are not yet possible to do and the Feature Request forum seems more appropriate there.

Every 300 pixels we add another column. The Nexus 7 is 600 pixels wide so that’s 2 columns. That’s also not something that will change or be supported. If you want more room for your sliders you can open the more info dialog for the entity that you want to control.

The resolution for Nexus 7 is 1280x800, but thanks anyway. I would actually want it to be 400 pixels wide for portrait and 640 pixels wide for landscape mode. The 7" screen is so small, that it makes sense to show a single column in portrait and double column in landscape.
