No SSH, Samba or access via hassio.local:8123

Help!

After an update of Hassio I lost my access to https://hassio.local:8123. Have tried this also: http://hassio.local:8123, http://192.168.1.XXX:8123 and https://192.168.1.XXX:8123. NO access. I can access it via https://XXXXXX.duckdns.org:8123/

Now yesterday I couldnt access Samba and SSH via putty.
Now this morning I could access Samba and SSH but after some time I couldnt access them again.

Someone that can help.
I havent changed something in the SSH.
Latest version on Hassio and addons.

Plz help.

It seem to be random when I can connect to Samba and SSH via putty.

Seems to be a war between my computer and Hassio on which of them should become master of Workgroup. Any advice?

Should I change settings somehow?
My router is: 192.168.1.1

This happens when I can log in and get kicked out.

Even if I have Samba stopped and uninstalled I cant get access to SSH via Putty. Whats going on?

I dont have another computer at home so I downloaded a samba client to my iPhone and connected. No problems!

So what is wrong with my computer??? :confounded::exploding_head:

I have tried this:
Go to Controlpanel --> Programs --> Turn Windows Features ON/OFF.
Scroll down to SMB1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Expand folder.
I had 3 folders

  • Automatic removal of SMB 1.0/CIFS
  • SMB 1.0/CIFS-client
  • SMB 1.0/CIFS-server

Checking and unchecking the boxes solves the problem for a while but returns after a short while again.

Hi, AcidSleeper, I have the exact symptoms like yours, every bits you describe. The Win10 PC is like fighting with the HASS to be the Master Browser for hosting the Workgroup. Kicking each other out and some time HASS declare winning the election…what election?..I connect with my android phone, and it woks, so we all agree that is is not HASS Samba issue, it is the Win10 issues. I also try clicking all around in Win10 from whatever I found on the internet, just like you describe, sometime it appears, sometime it does not.
But I do realize one thing, it might help you on the putty session. Go to SSH & Web Terminal in HASS, disable the protection Mode (temporary), then you go to your Putty session, it should work now…key in User and Password…and get connected. once you done that, you can go back to SSH to enable the Protection Mode again… Now your putty should work fine…I figure this out like trying so many things and I think I have luck…hahha…

Someone please help on the Samba - Win10 connection problem…fighting with HASS to own the master browser rights for workgroup.
