Node-Red - cant uninstall?

When I try to uninstall I get the following error:

Can’t remove image joshgetter/armhf-home-assistant-nodered: 400 Client Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.41/images/joshgetter/armhf-home-assistant-nodered:?force=True&noprune=False: Bad Request (“invalid reference format”)

I have also tried to delete manually but it still says it is installed and now showing an update is available, which won’t go away!

Just ant to remove NodeRed as I never use it.

Any ideas folks?

looks like a custom kasa camera node, remove it first with manage palette.

Right, thank you, will have a gander and report back…

Cant get there unfortunately - NR says 404. Tried via sidebar and opening UI which is blank…

FYI: After today’s core update I tried again, and this time it uninstalled Node-RED. Must have been a ‘known’ bug…???

I am having the same issue but unlike in your case, I am still unable to uninstall the add-on.

Anyone have any ideas as to how this can be removed manually? I know of the folder location but am very hesistant to just delete it as that can cause other issues.

I opened an issue on GitHub a few days ago, but things have been quiet on his GitHub.

Never had so much trouble uninstalling something

I’ve not used node-red so I decided to remove it from my implementation (on a Pi 4)

I’ve removed the node-red companion from HACS, I’ve removed the node-red integration from HA, I’ve deleted the node-red directory under config (there wasn’t one under share). But node red refuses to go away

I tried a reboot, and it happily repopulated the deleted directories.

Any suggestions on how to remove it?

UPDATED - you also have to remove it from “Add-Ons” ! Silly me.
