Node-red not starting

ah ok im just new to this home assistant and i only really know the dockers right

im currently runng the HA OS on a SSD on unraid and the 20 min thing i just refering to what it had said

so no spin up i installed it yesterday… when you click the addons and the node -red it says its running when you click the Node on the left side then it says 02 Bad gateway… and if spin up issue its been idling since yesterday…

i dunno about logs … just found logs under System

im confused i just gave you the log file of HassOs

i clicked Supervisor and then I clicked System and gave you the log
as there is no log file under Addon Store

Since you’ve only just now found the logs section, this makes me wonder if you’ve also found the add-on’s configuration section. Every add-on has these tabs.

Have you configured this add-on? Are you using ssl? Do you have ssl enabled?

i dunno
i ran Unraid
I setup VM cow2 file
i started the VM
i clicked Open Web GUi
it then waited till i got the login after it saying may take 20 min
i created an account logged in… i skipped the first part

i clicked the Supervisor as it doesnt say Hass.io like the video
i installed MQQT Server and Client and Node-Red also installed today the check home assistant configuration…

when i clicked the Start on the node red and also set it to be in the side bar thing
and then i click the NODE in the left side and i get 02 Bad Gate way

your guess is good as mine for configuring add on or ssl i did what video showed… install it install the add on then click to run… i cant tell you much more i also checked the watch dog if it crashes button

i think i fixed it
i found another video you set your secret crediental to your user account password
and change SSL from true to false

not sure what those do but that seems to let it work least to workspace screen and no 02 bad gateway

now to figure how to set up 3 push buttons on 2 different raspberry pis and be able to change the color of the button when your click it for on or off

soo i not sure what else i need? as its not working right
i trying to follow video
i added a change state to the work space
i double clicked it… i gave a name left the server to home assistant
but then enity state: there is no input_boolen_computer

there is just binary.sensor,. weather, sun,zone.home
what am i missing to add button input or so to control raspberry pi pins

is there another add-on i need to add… that wasnt in the video of adding a node-red


as its a year old video maybe i need to add something else??

and how does the guy get the cell phone app size display on his screen i dont see that option anywhere in the home assistant so i can see the output

i gave up for now i couldnt duplicate this video… and i got told home assistant easy to use… and in 10 min of installing i be up and running having a switch to turn off relays

but i think they were wrong and think this is going to take alot longer… i been fiddling more then an hour and still no luck to do that example right the guy has in the video
guesill look for more videos

Node Red is a considerably steeper learning curve than the inbuilt Home Assistant automations.

It is also unnecessary unless you’re after the power that it offers. If you want something quick and easy, use the inbuilt automations.
