Sorry, I meant cloud api not just api.
I think this have moved over to https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/issues/20268#issuecomment-458938151 and I belive they have found the problem as well.

That will not help if you already configured tellduslive, you must edit .storage/core.config_entries and change the value for "scan_interval": in the "domain": "tellduslive" entry.
The 0.87 version is now out and it is supposed to fix the Tellduslive issues.
