OS Running in VirtualBox

My time and sun based automations run late. For example: 8:17AM automation ran at 8:48AM today. My sunrise automation ran at 7:47AM. Sunrise was 7:16.
running {{now()}} in the Dev tools returns the correct time.
This feels like something simple but I cannot figure it out. Similar to this issue

I’m running hass_os (5.10) running on VirtualBox running on Debian. (HA 21.1.5).

FWIW, the VM is assigned two cores and 2GB RAM but uses little of the resources

Anyone have ideas about this?

I’m stuck with many unusable automations.
