Overkiz API and Somfy API

Just tried setting this up today and seem to have the same issue. pymfy authenticates with the API just fine, but no devices are listed.

Has it come back up for anyone else?

Huge thanks to @tetienne for taking the time to create the Home Assistant integration!

You are welcome!
so in your case, if you don’t see any devices listed it can mean two things: your devices are not yet supported or your country is not eligible.

My covers disappeared two days ago. I had it working before.

I today do new integration and i have it empty too.

@gneblon @Bojkas Same behavior on my side :S I will contact their support. Let’s see what they say. Its worse and worse.

Great that you are contacting them. I’m guessing their own app uses the same API sand the app is working…

I’ve some issues since two days. My automation doesn’t work the evening.
Any changes from the API ?

Is there a list of supported devices and/or countries? I have a Connexoon setup, running in New Zealand. They’ve traditionally had a different setup for Australia and New Zealand, though I was hoping the Open API would change this.

I’ve flicked an email to Somfy support as well.

Your stacktrace is not linked to my component but seems related to the Tahoma component which use the unofficial API. It’s interesting to see even this has some trouble.

Here you can see the list of supported devices: https://developer.somfy.com/products-services-informations
For the countries, I don’t have the information. Would be nice to have it, so I can update the component documentation page.

Thanks @tetienne. Somfy Oceania Support had this to say:

Hello Michael,

Currently the Open API via developer.somfy.com for this region is not available.

There is no official ETA when this will be made available.

Regards,

Somfy P/L Tech Support

So that clears that up. Guess I’ll have to go back to try reverse engineering the Australian Connexoon app. It’s not too different to the Tahoma component, but uses different servers and somewhat infuriatingly ever so slightly different syntax.

Sad to read this.
Perhaps you can try to improve the Tahoma component indeed to support your sever.

Hello,

I still have the error “Une erreur est survenue Veuillez réessayer. Si le problème persiste, veuillez contacter le support technique.” when trying to configure integration…

Did anyone manage to work this out ?

gneblon Rosiaantje Try restart HASSIO now. API is maybe repaired, works for me.

@Bojkas what Callback URL did you use?

Still not working here after trying various URLs, restarting HA etc.

@tetienne what is setting the redirect_uri query parameter when I click in HA to configure Somfy? If I change the Callback URL in the Somfy app this doesn’t seem to change.

Alec you can use local IP (with port) your HA. That IP use only for redirect back to HA after auth proces. You have another problem what can fix only support Somfy i think. Send them message and you hope they are write you back. :-/ Helps me write to my local Somfy and tell them about problem too, they can write to support in france too.

Nope I can remove the Somfy intergration and reconnect again without problems but it still doesnt load my devices. So the API is still having problems.

I’m in France as well and I couldn’t get it to work despite trying every combinations of restarting HA, Hassio, changing the somfy app, etc.
I wrote to somfy several times, but they don’t answer… wait and hope I guess.

API doesnt work again. :frowning: I think other companies should give API programming.

It started working for me just now.
