Overkiz local API failed to connect

Hey guys,

i used the cloudAPI all the time to control my Somfy Connexoon.

i just learned about the localAPI and wanted to switch, however i always get a “failed to connect” error.

i turned dev-mode on at the somfy webpage, added the pin to the gateway url and used the correct account to log in.

cloudapi works without any problems.

am i missing something?

EDIT: was able to connect it using the IP and turning SSL off

Hey guys, I have the following problem with the local API to control my Tahoma Switch. I used the cloud API for a while and wanted to switch to the (now a core feature) local API. I got the PIN-Code, Tahome Switch is in Dev Mode, credentials are correct (tested on somfy webpage). But is neither working for the .local nor the IP (with SSL off) way?! For each scenario a get a “Connection failed” message without any further information. What am I missing? I really appreciate your work and help…

How did you turn off SSL?

Hi everybody

I am new to Home Assistant. Just wanted to let you know that I got Overkiz working via local API.

In order to connect to the Somfy Switch, I had to use its IP instead of the gateway-PIN address. I also had to disable SSL verification.
