Painpoint / Showstopper migration from Openhab: Zwave Shutter reverse control not configurable in entities

Hi,

I trying to migrate from openhab, but I do have a showstopper.

My qubino devices are wired in a way that there are opening when closing command is sent and vice versa. Using the installed hardware switch it works up and down in the correct direction.

I don’t want to change the physical wiring for three roller shutters. Changing the direction in the devices itself is not possible (missing command set for this).

In openhab it is possible to change the control direction within the channel (=homeassistant entity) itself. I didn’t find anything equivalent in homeassistant.

Is there a chance to get this feature or a workaround?

No, there is no feature to do so. You can create a template cover to invert the commands. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/cover.template/

Zwave JS request to invert covers

Zwave JS invert cover

I am setting up the new Zwave JS integration. Got most of my nodes working right now, but have an issue with 3 Fibaro roller shutter devices. They work perfectly but in the lovelace UI the button states are reversed. When I click down the shutter goes up and vice versa. Anyone has a clue where I can invert these states? I have searched through the forum and saw this configuration invert_openclose_buttons: true but this seems to only apply to the deprecated zwave integration.
