This. Replace the sensor that sets de AC to inactiu (Idle/inactive) and keep it cooling until MEROSS sensor reaches the desired temperature.
Now it’s only 0.6 degrees but in the hottest hours the difference can get as high as 2 degrees.

Right, I now understand what you are trying to do. Sharing my automation with you was to show how I use a different sensor to control the operation of the fan. Sounds like what you want to do is way too complex for me! Good luck.
Thank you anyway it’s always interesting seeing templates from others as they are my biggest fear…
Yep, maybe it’s not even possible to do that, because of the internal AC programming or something with the PANASONIC API…
So… I’ll keep looking, trying and waiting.
Hey there!
First, thanks for the work! The integration worked fine for me for many months. Yesterday was a server outage and since then I get an error:

Can anyone help a noob out?
Most likely an issues with Panasonic cloud.
The developer is already aware of the problem
Very good integration!
My question is more towards the heat pump experts in here as i can’t seem to get this info elsewhere.
Is it common for Panasonic heat pumps to heat beyond set temperature?
If i set my pump to 23 degrees Celsius it will keep the room at 25 degrees.
When i google this, most answers are related to issues. This pump is 3 days old.
Histereza is too high?
Suddenly i get:
This entity is no longer being provided by the panasonic_cc integration. If the entity is no longer in use, delete it in settings.
I have rebooted HA but same error.
I am looking for the same thing, as in my case the difference is quite substantial - the A/C unit’s sensor reads 24 degrees, while the Xiaomi sensor is at 22 degrees.
Not sure if @sockless has any insight on this, but I reckon it is something that is dependent on the Cloud integration itself, so I doubt that we can change this in HA separately.
Hey, I want to create a nice automation with the build in temp. sensors but they are crazy wrong.
the inside temperature is NOT 30 degree. It seems that this problem is inside the comfort cloud app as well. When the AC is active, the value is getting normal after a few seconds but for an “if temp X then activate” automation, I need the inside temperature to work in offline mode as well.
Anyone has a solution or at least the same problem?
Hi, I am new to Home Assistant and just setting up integrations for the first time. I have installed Panasonic Comfort Cloud from HACS and when I try to restart Home Assistant it doesn’t boot back up. The only way to get it working again is to power off Home Assistant Green and turn it back on again but Panasonic Comfort Cloud is still not showing up under integrations.
Anyone else experienced this issue? Is this due to the server issues mentioned recently?
Thank you for this integration. I am a newbie to the HA world and I have this integration working with my Panasonic Aircon in the conservatory. I have a strange issue in that in heat mode, the aircon heats up to way higher than the set temperature. Not sure if others are seeing this as well but according to @markpurcell (Post 26 I think) current temperature and target temperature are pretty close together.
I have been testing having the aircon on heat at 16 as well as on the summer house setting at 12, both set via the Comfort Cloud app. The room temperature varies between 18 and 21 regardless of whether the set point is at 12 or 16. If I were to use the Auto mode at 16, the aircon cycles between heat and cool. I got a Sonoff SNZB-02 this morning to compare with the temeprature from the Panasonic, and they seem to agree. Please ignore the initial temperature on the Sonoff - I was testing it in my office.
Panasonic model: CS-Z50UFEAW.
Conservatory is approximately 28sqm. Double glazed on three walls and a new insulated roof. According to the installer, this is how the Panasonic is meant to behave? I have contacted Panasonic too and awaiting their response. I am wondering if the 5kW is simply oversized for my conservatory? I am uploading the graphs from HA but not sure if it will appear correctly.
I would be very grateful to know if others are facing something similar or whether you have a finer match between setpoint and actual temperature.
Oh, looks like new posters can only put up one at a time. I thought the image from HA will have the legends. Purple is set point (12/16) and blue is temperature from the Panasonic integration. I shall also upload the Sonoff image.
Hi
After updating to the latest HA version I am now gettting the following error in my Panasonic Comfort Cloud entities:
“This entity is no longer being provided by the panasonic_cc integration. If the entity is no longer in use, delete it in settings.”
Any ideas how to fix this?
There is an active discussion going on here Error 500 in loading integration · Issue #147 · sockless-coding/panasonic_cc · GitHub
Looks like Panasonic did some changes to their cloud integration which caused the HA plug to misbehave.
Hi,
I don’t know if it is specific to Panasonic but you will see the heat temperature up to 2-3 degrees higher than the set point. I’m having two installed at my place and the shown temperature is 22 and the set point is 20. As I also have Zigbee thermostat in both rooms and as they are reporting the same temperature as the set point, I just stop worrying about that and adjust set point to what I want and forget it.
FYI, if you have more then one interior module on the same exterior unit, you will also see the temperature reported going down by a lot. For example, for my set point at 20, it will go down to 15-16. That’s when the heat pump stop as, in a multi head unit, it will switch to cooling mode for a short time. As the sensor is very close to the heating/cooling coil, it catch that even if the unit won’t really cool the room. Apparently, that is normal as well.

Update the integration (the authentication issue was addressed)
If still not working, remove and re-add the integration
Thank you.
Thanks I have got it working now
