I’ve created an extended blueprint version that not only controls your pool pump with a heater installed, but is also controls your salt water system. It is an evolution of the blueprint to control your pool pump and heater: Pool Pump and Heat Controller

It is able to control running the pump based on the pool temperature. When pool temperature is too low and the heater needs to turned on it will start the pool pump and stops the pump when the desired temperature is reached.

It is also able to assure a minimal amount of pump and/or salt water system run hours each day.

Additional blocking entities can be configured for fined grain control wether the pump/heater/salt water system must not start or stop. For instance you can create a times of the day sensor that blocks starting the pump during night time.
