just a quick update, we exposed the siren to ZHA and had a test, we can make those devices are interconnected via an automation, you can either do it with HA automation or Node Red, that’s quite flexible for action of automation, you can make it as an action to Co alarm, too.

Some friendly advice. No one knows what update you’re talking about. I suggest you paste a link to the original thread (or ask the mods to merge both threads).

So happy to see that you are working on HA integrations for the Heineman smoke detectors. I got the HS1SA-E and when I press the test button on the device I can see inside HA that the button was pressed and the state changes for the siren. The other way does not seem to work. When I press the siren button inside HA the device does not start the siren.
My use case is if any device notices smoke all the other devices should also start their siren.
Here is an image of me turning on the siren inside HA and you can see the state still shows as “Off”.
Any advice you can give? Or any logs you need?

the switch button was used for mute only, so it’s not used for siren function.
