Hi.
Is anyone having issue reading the inverter values via RS485 ModBus?
My inverter work for some days then it stop working. It turns back working after some days also.
Already changed usb dongle.
Also tested with a modbus master software, that report the error “Insufficient data byte received”
Also tried with an ESP32 with rs485 converter, no success.

I added you integration, but on the Energy Tab but most of the variables available within the integration are not avilable…
there is a way to ad statistics data for all variables?

Yes I did!
I use the action “write multiple holding registers” within the Solarman integration, as the Modbus/USB Stick that sits in my Azzurro HYD 1000 is a rebranded Solarman stick.
Then Someone in a german forum linked me a pdf with all the registers, ages ago. Don’t really find it anymore. But register 4368 is the one that decides the different modes of the inverter. Setting this to “1” is the inverters Time-Scheduled Mode.
Then on the inverter itself I set up this Time-Scheduled Mode to be at 100% everytime.
So if I push that button in Home Assistant, the inverter will start to push the battery to 100%.
I have another button, that uses the same action to set the same register to “0”, then it’s back in the standard self-usage mode.
I remember that it only worked if you use the action for “multiple registers”, even though you only write one.
THAT BEING SAID: I just read minutes ago, that there now is a Sofar Integration from Homeassistant itself and as the Azzurro Inverters are rebranded Sofar inverters, I’d assume that there might be easier ways to do this now. I haven’t tested this yet as it just came out in 2026.09 hours ago.
But maybe this integration will be the way to go from now on.
