Recalculating energy costs

Hi! My energy company raised the energy costs at beginning of this month but I failed to update it in HA until 2 days ago.

But this does not affect the historical data that was saved using the previous rate.

How can I force HA to recalculate energy price since the beginning of the month??

Hi,

Have you solved energy recalculation?
I have similare issue, had wrong values in two of my shelly plug s defined. 17 eur instead of 17cent…
no wonder calc is 10 times higher than reality.
Now after correction in energy settings the costs stay high in HA.
there should be a way of recalc everything with new value instead of just using new value for new used kWh…

Add a service to recalculate energy costs with the following parameters: energy entity (required) start date (optional). If not specified start from the first date. end date (optional). If not specified end now. static energy price (optional). If not specified take the configured price.
