Reconfiguring Unifi Network integration

I recently updated the URL for my Unifi controller (when I switched from the old Network Application to Unifi OS server).

However it doesn’t seem there’s really a great way to tell Home Assistant about the change, short of directly editing /homeassistant/.storage/core.config_entries and restarting Home Assistant.

Is there an “officially supported” way to do this?

I saw a thread from 2022 where people were talking about adding a second hub and it updating the integration, but this doesn’t strike me as great UX.

Shouldn’t it expose a way for me to edit the host + port, as well as the credentials it’s using?

Probably easiest to delete the integration and add it again.

That also seems like a bad flow. If you have any of those integrations tied to automations you’d then have to go and change those, too.

Not really, if you don’t use device_id in the automations you’ll be fine. Why and how to avoid device_ids in automations and scripts
